These healthy snacks are perfect for kids, for taking to work, or just having around the house. Tons of ideas including both sweet and savory options.
I don't know about you, but when I don't have healthy snacks prepped and waiting for me in the fridge or pantry, I am straight into the bag of tortilla chips (or honestly- chocolate chips). I shared some of my favorite (portable) healthy office snacks already, and now I'm sharing some snack options that are great to prep on Sunday for the week ahead.

Whether you are looking for kid-friendly snacks, or something for the grown ups, there are lots of options in this post.
Easy snack options
In addition to the recipes in this post, here are some other healthy snack ideas:
- trail mix, or healthy nuts such as almonds: Be careful with portion size; ¼ cup is around 175 calories, and should be good to give you a boost of energy to power through the afternoon lull
- fruit: my go-to is an apple in the afternoon. I love adding protein in the form of cheese or nut butter (1.5 oz is one serving size).
- smoothies: this one is hard if you don't work at home. I love having a green smoothie (this one is my favorite) mid-afternoon to keep my energy levels up.
- hummus: it's so versatile! Use it as a dip with veggies, spread it on rice cakes, or roll it up in tortillas (how about with some cucumber slices?).

Hi Laura! I am not a huge expert in baby food, but I think it really depends on the age of your baby. Are you talking under 1 year old? If so, I'd refer to https://www.annabelkarmel.com/, she has some amazing recipes for little ones!
