Thank you, thank you, thank you for welcoming my recipes into your home, onto your tables and into your bellies in 2014! When my sister-law urged me to start a food blog almost a year ago, I never expected it to reach so many people so quickly or I probably would have picked a different name as I have seen it referenced as Carl’s Bad Cravings on a number of sites – which makes me laugh and is honestly a more catchy name. But I am so happy you have joined me on this foodie adventure. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this blog possible. Hi Jen, I found your site by happenstance as I was trying to plan a meal for several of our friends from church. I wanted something different, something special. I googled several dishes and clicked on your site. And all the pictures of food looked so delicious. I read through the recipes and decided to try several. In fact, my whole meal pretty much consisted of your recipes. Pistachio Gruyere Chicken Cordon Bleu, the Pecan Streusel Double Bake Sweet Potatoes, the Herbed Gruyere Potatoes, the Lemon Poke Cake and the Pecan Toffee Cake… omg! I’m not really much of a cook, but your recipes were so clearly written and the step-by-step photos were so easy to follow. I had my mother-in-law fix a couple of here standout dishes, just in case my adventure with something new didn’t turn out right…. Well, I must say, everything turned out perfect. Our guest were raving over all the dishes I made from your site… They all wanted to know how I fixed them, especially the sweet potatoes… They were, as my guests said, “off the chain,” and declared I had been holding out on my culinary skills. LOL! I directed everyone to your site. I also tried the Honey Hot Wings and the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls for our Superbowl Party. They both were instant hits. One guest was not happy that one of his egg rolls disappeared from his plate… LOL! Thanks so much for posting and sharing your life and recipes. Blessings to you and your family!
