How to Make Winnie the Pooh Eeyore Donut Ears

Using the grey fondant, pinch off about 2 1/2 tsp of fondant and roll into a ball.

Roll the ball in between your hands to form a long piece.

Using your fingers, lightly flatten the fondant log into a long flat piece of fondant.

Set aside.

Pinch off about 2 – 1/8 tsp of pink fondant.

Roll the pink fondant into balls and then roll them into logs.

Flatten the logs into long flat pieces.

Using your fingers, lightly get them wet under water.

Brush your finger along the middle of your grey disks to leave a trail of water. Water acts as a glue when working with fondant.

Carefully lay the pink flat piece onto the grey flat piece of fondant.

Repeat steps for 29 more ears. You will need a total of 30 ears.

Allow to sit to harden while you make the glaze.

Decorating Directions for Eeyore Donuts

Make sure that your wire rack is on top of a larger cookie sheet so that when you pour the grey glaze onto the doughnuts, the glaze will not drip onto the counter

Allow the doughnuts to dry for 10 minutes.

Once the 10 minutes are up, carefully lift one of the ears up.

Lightly get your finger wet and brush it on the edge of the top of the ear.

Carefully place the top of the ear on the side of the Eeyore donut.

Repeat steps with the other Eeyore ear.

Set aside while you mold your fondant bows.

Using a small pointy paint brush, dip it into the powdered sugar.

Brush the powdered sugar into the fondant mold.

Pinch off a piece of red fondant and push it into the mold.

Allow the fondant to sit there for a few minutes before pushing the bow out of the mold.

Repeat steps for 14 more bows.

Lightly brush water onto the back of the bow and place the bow onto the bottom middle of the Eeyore donut.

Using the ivory colored fondant and repeat the steps that you did for the ears.

Carefully shape the ivory into a bean shape for the base of the mouth.

Lightly wet the back of the ivory fondant piece and place onto the top middle of the donut.

Pipe hair onto the top part of the donut and then pipe stitches down the center.

Next, pipe a dot on both sides of the Eeyore donut for the eyes.

Pipe a line above the eyes for Eeyore’s eyebrows and pipe a dot on the ivory fondant for the nose.
